Please call our office to schedule your appointment. It is required that you have a referral form in order to take the scan. For easier scheduling and correct quoting of prices, take a picture of the form with your phone and text or email to us before calling to schedule.
Payment will be due at the time of your appointment (unless dental office takes responsibility), you will be quoted a fee during scheduling. We will provide you with an itemized receipt during your appointment for possible reimbursement from your insurance provider. Procedure codes may be requested during scheduling if you would like to call ahead to see if you're covered.
Our first appointments are usually scheduled at 9am and the last appointment at 3:30pm. If these hours do not work with your schedule please let us know and exceptions can usually be made. Please note that all appointments are determined by location and availability. If extra time is needed due to special needs or physical limitations, please let us know at this time.
Female patients- If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant we recommend holding off on scheduling unless you have written authorization from your medical doctor.
Scheduling An Appointment
Your Appointment
Our X-ray tech will call your phone number upon arrival at the address you provided during scheduling. You will step out into our mobile unit for your appointment. We have a fleet of beautiful Mercedes sprinter vans, all of which are not labeled for your privacy and discretion. You must have your referral slip available to give to our tech at the time of the scan or have had previously text/email us the form. Please have all jewelry from the neck up removed beforehand.
You will be seated during the procedure in an open machine so claustrophobia should not be a worry. The machine will make one 360 degree rotation around your head lasting for about 15-25 seconds. Your job...Hold still! Once the procedure is complete, our tech will check to make sure your scan turned out great.
At this time our tech will collect payment. Cash, check or card are all acceptable forms of payment. An itemized receipt will be provided for insurance reimbursement if needed. If you would like a copy of your scan, please let the tech know so they can get your email address. All results will be emailed or mailed out directly to your dental office the following business day.
Cancellation Policy
If a patient needs to cancel or reschedule their appointment, 24 hour cancellation is required or a $50 fee may be applied. If you try to reach us after hours, please make sure to leave a voicemail or email us.
Our X-ray techs will wait 10-20 minutes after the scheduled appointment time for patients running late. This wait time varies depending on the location of our next scheduled appointment. If the patient does not show, there will be a $50 No-Show fee applied to the next appointment scheduled.
